Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a skilled SAS Programmer to join one of our government clients that works in the Fraud Risk Management sector. In this role, you will develop, program, and script using SAS with a strong emphasis on coding and scripting proficiency. You will investigate and analyze scripts in a fraud environment, monitoring data trends and clusters to identify and differentiate between real and false breaches. Working closely with the cyber engineer, you will assess the magnitude of breaches. Additionally, you will utilize and update a SAS fraud detection tool from Viya 3 to Viya 4, ensuring it is optimized for current needs. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth data analysis to uncover patterns and insights related to fraudulent activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance fraud detection capabilities and improve overall data security, and preparing detailed reports and documentation of findings and recommendations.

Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience as a SAS Programmer with strong coding and scripting skills.
- Extensive knowledge of SAS tools and software, particularly in a fraud detection environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends.
- Experience working with data trends, clusters, and performing in-depth data analysis.
- Familiarity with updating and maintaining SAS tools - Any SAS certification
- Experience working in the fraud or government sector
