SAP WM Analyst

Job Title: SAP WM Analyst Location: Charlotte, NC Location: Onsite (with potential for remote flexibility at manager's discretion) Contract Duration: Long term (at least 2+ years) Final round F2F interview Job Summary: Client is seeking a highly experienced SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Analyst to support and optimize our warehouse management processes within both SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP WM, including system configuration, integration, and end-user support. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing warehouse operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring seamless system performance. Key Responsibilities: Configure, implement, and support SAP WM in both ECC and S/4HANA environments. Provide expert-level troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system enhancements for warehouse and inventory management processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, supply chain, and IT, to define business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions. Perform system upgrades, migrations, and optimizations to ensure smooth transitions between SAP versions. Design and maintain functional specifications for enhancements, custom developments, and system integrations. Provide user training and support, ensuring warehouse personnel can effectively use SAP WM functionalities. Work closely with ABAP developers to design, test, and deploy custom solutions when necessary. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with business and technical requirements. Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, workflows, and business processes. Support integration with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and external warehouse management systems. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as an SAP WM Analyst in both ECC and S/4HANA environments. Deep expertise in SAP WM processes, including inventory management, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping. Experience with EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is a plus. Strong understanding of SAP MM (Materials Management) and integration with SD, PP, and QM modules. Experience with RF (Radio Frequency) technology integration within SAP WM. Knowledge of barcode scanning solutions and automation within SAP WM. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues. Hands-on experience with SAP implementation, upgrades, and migrations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with business and technical teams. Preferred Skills: Exposure to SAP S/4HANA 1809, 1909, or newer versions. Understanding of Fiori Apps and SAP UI5 for warehouse management. Experience with third-party logistics (3PL) integration. Familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions related to warehouse operations. Knowledge of Lean WM functionalities.
