Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking an experienced SAP Training Developer to support the development and delivery of training for a SAP S/4HANA implementation for a large Federal government agency. The ideal candidate will have strong experience planning, developing and executing end user training for a large-scale implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest organizations of the US Federal government. You will be interacting with a dynamic team of people with opportunities to learn and grow consulting and training skills as you help provide a change management journey to our client. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week. Your future duties and responsibilities: As a Training Developer, you will use training and instructional design to ensure conformity with mission training objectives. Plan, develop and deliver training materials as scheduled. Create training content and materials based on the financial system being implemented; this will necessitate learning enough about the core system to be able to develop relevant training materials. Deliver training materials via a variety of methods, including in-person classroom training, virtual training, or self-directed learning sessions to a decentralized audience. Have the desire and ability to travel, as needed, within the US to deliver training. Develop training that teaches users the financial processes and related technology including use of role-based exercises within a SAP training environment Coordinate related stand-alone documents that support training. Conduct needs assessments/instructional analysis to assess appropriate learning modes Prepare auxiliary plans for training project completion, including comprehensive timelines. Conduct performance-based measurement assessments for objective evaluation of instructional programs. Prepare training status reports, exhibits, communications and procedures as required. Consult with senior instructional staff to confirm program/system objectives, operational procedures and system/program constraints. Remain current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements. Author and organize training systems procedural manuals and supporting documentation for training programs and systems in accordance with organizational/departmental requirements. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required as well as successful passing of CGI background check prior to beginning work. In addition, candidates must have ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/CISA EOD/Public Trust clearance. BS degree in Business, Education, Training, HR, Information Technology or related field. Experience with SAP S/4HANA 6+ years of experience in training development and delivery for Federal government clients Experience with various training authoring tools including experience with SAP Empower (the SAP Empower will be nice to have but there are similar tools like UPK or Walkme that are also OK and other authoring tools like Camptasia, Adobe Connect, etc., so the authoring tool to make training content is important with Empower being awesome if possible) CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $69,700.00 - $150,800.00.
