LeverageTek is actively seeking an SAP Solution Architect for an upcoming 9-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.
Key Tasks
- Define the end-to-end technical architecture for the S/4HANA migration, ensuring alignment with business goals
- Evaluate and recommend deployment options (on-premise, cloud, hybrid) and migration paths (greenfield, brownfield, hybrid)
- Design integration strategies for SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., middleware, APIs, SAP BTP)
- Lead the selection and implementation of migration tools (e.g., SAP Migration Cockpit, Software Update Manager SUM /Database Migration Option DMO )
- Oversee data migration, including extraction, transformation, and validation
- Ensure compliance with S/4HANA simplification items and best practices
- Serve as the primary technical authority for the migration program
- Collaborate with functional teams, BASIS, developers, and vendors to resolve complex issues
- Conduct architecture reviews and enforce SAP standards
- Present solutions to executive stakeholders and translate technical concepts for business teams
- Mitigate risks and address technical challenges proactively
Key Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP experience, including full-cycle ECC to S/4HANA migrations
- Expertise in S/4HANA architecture (on-premise, cloud, hybrid) and migration methodologies
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and enforcing SAP standards
Required Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of SAP modules and cross-functional dependencies
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
- Proven experience leading the technical design and implementation of an SAP ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA migration
- Strong background in defining end-to-end solution blueprints and aligning technical decisions with business objectives
- Ability to guide cross-functional teams throughout the migration lifecycle
Assets
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- SAP S/4HANA certification (preferred)
- TOGAF or cloud architecture certifications (a plus)
