SAP SD Consultant

Job Title:SAP SD Consultant Location: Hybrid ONSITE in Plano, TX Duration:12months COGNIZANT LOOKING FOR Sr Functional Architect IN SAP SD. The candidate must have hands-on, on the SAP SD with good experience in SAP SD implementation. Must be able to work independently in factory model and must be able to do the following. Should be able to write user requirements and configure the system to the requirements. Should be able to work in onsite/ offshore team model and bring out the results with team members. Should be conversant with the SAP product and must also be able to interact with SAP for OSS messages etc. Key Responsibilities Must be able to work independently and must be able to do the following. Should be able to independently drive the requirement gathering workshops, ability to prepare design, functional spec documents. Should be able to configure the system to the requirements. Should be able to work in onsite/ offshore team model and bring out the results with team members. Should be conversant with the SAP product and must also be able to interact with SAP for OSS messages etc., Should have good communication skills both in spoken and written and must be able to do the documentation needed for the role. Should be a team player and manage the team effectively. Should have Strong analytical skills. Essential Skills: Experience in Sales Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) configuration with emphasis on order processing, deliveries and shipments, and billing Minimum of 1 full E2E implementation experience with SAP S/4 HANA Experience with SAP modules, primarily Sales and Distribution (SD) with some overlap in Supply (MM, PP and QM) and Finance (FI/CO) Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA, and understand cross-functional touch points with MM, IM and FI/CO Experience in integration of SAP SD/LE with SAP TM and SAP EWM Module Experience in PHARMA industry is desirable. Experience in ITALY and SWISS local process is added advantage. Preferable to have experience with regulations corresponding to European Union countries. Focus on Pricing should have strong hands experience on configuration of SAP SD Module for order types, Contract management, Pricing, Billing, Item Categories, and should be able to conceptualize and map various business strategies using SD module. Hands on experience on SAP S/4HANA topics like BRF+, ARM Experience of working on Template adaption with addition of process to the template Strong experience of integrating with 3PL system. Nice to Have Skills. Good experience in handling interfaces with non-SAP applications. Understanding of SAP technologies including but not limited to EDI, File transfer, API, etc. Should have participated in most aspects of the implementation, rollout and support of O2C projects (Configuration, Interface, Coordination with technical team) May lead multiple project activities simultaneously, working with internal and external cross-functional groups. Resolve technical issues including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds and defect correction. Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
