JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Scrum Master to support a large-scale SAP S/4HANA migration for a public sector client. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile methodologies, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of SAP functionalities while guiding cross-functional teams through the migration journey from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using RISE with SAP (Private Cloud Option). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP implementations, Agile frameworks, and public sector compliance requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a Scrum Master for multiple SAP project teams, ensuring adherence to Agile best practices.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and SAP functional/technical teams to define, prioritize, and refine the product backlog.

• Coach teams on Agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

• Support the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation leveraging RISE with SAP - Private Cloud.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, system integrators, and cloud service providers to align Agile practices with the project roadmap.

• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers impacting SAP S/4HANA deployment.

• Ensure seamless coordination between SAP functional (Finance, Logistics, Procurement, HR) and technical teams (Basis, Security, ABAP, Integration).

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, SAP implementation partners, and IT teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Drive transparency by reporting sprint progress, velocity, and key Agile metrics to leadership.

• Ensure compliance with public sector regulatory and security requirements.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with 3 years of experience in SAP projects, preferably in the public sector.

• Hands-on experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migrations (preferably with RISE with SAP - Private Cloud).

• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or Lean Agile).

• Experience working with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or other Agile project management tools.

• Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.

• Knowledge of SAP modules such as Finance (FI), Logistics (MM, SD), Procurement, or HR.

• Understanding of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), SAP Fiori, and SAP integrations (SAP PI/PO, API Management) a plus.

• Familiarity with public sector policies, compliance, and procurement processes.

• Transit Industry experience strongly preferred.

• Exposure to cloud migration strategies and SAP Activate methodology.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or SAFe Agilist preferred.
