SAP Release Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor' s Degree with 10+ years of experience along with Understanding of SAP Ariba Procurement process.

• Proficiency in MS office

• Working knowledge of SDLC methodologies

• Experience managing releases within an ERP or SAP environment

• Minimum 5+ years Release Mgmt experience

• Understanding of SAP system landscape and integration with Other applications

• Understanding of support tool like Remedy, ALM, SAP

• Implementation planning and dependency analysis for both major and maintenance release cycles.

• Understanding of the Ariba Procurement processes and able to manage the releases for Ariba centric solutions including process changes

Job responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and track of all production-related activities successful deployments

• Implementation planning and dependency analysis for both major and maintenance release cycles

• Identify risks, cross application dependencies and downstream impacts per release

• Establish and communicate master release schedule

• Design and implement efficient procedures for the distribution and implementation of IT changes into production

• Facilitate issue tracking and resolution of post go live activities where required

• Manage scope and schedule of releases

• Creation and communication of release status implementation scorecard and executive status reporting

• Assist in the prioritization of enhancements and changes into release packages

• Develop process for emergency and exception releases

• Consolidate and publish Release Notes for each deployment
