Summary: An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced
Associate Director, Project Management with a strong focus on
ERP/APS systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of ERP/APS systems from inception to completion. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP/APS systems, strong project management expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Essential Functions: - Lead the planning and implementation of ERP projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
- Configure ERP systems to meet organizational needs, including templates, standards, workflows, and approval requirements.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.
- Monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Maintain oversight and management of ERP/APS systems beyond initial implementation.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in resource management or a related role.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on ERP systems (such as SAP).
- Strong understanding of ERP/APS systems and their implementation.
- PMP Certification and/or Project Management training .
- Experience with software implementation and validation.
- Proven success using Agile project management methodology.
- Experience with Jira or similar tools.
- Ability to manage and align multiple workstreams and vendors for timely completion of deliverables.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate and build relationships across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting and integrating interdisciplinary project information.
- Well-organized, results-focused, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong team management skills, including facilitation, conflict resolution, and team development.
- Proven influence management and communication skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage change effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project or Smartsheet.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
