We are looking for a skilled SAP MDG Consultant / Master Data Specialist with 3 to 7 years of experience in SAP Master Data, including hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cloud MDG (Master Data Governance). The ideal candidate should have contributed to at least one full-cycle global implementation and be passionate about ensuring data integrity and governance across SAP environments. You will collaborate with business and IT teams to support and optimize master data processes and governance strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of SAP S/4HANA Cloud MDG solutions.
• Assist in the creation, modification, and management of master data objects across the SAP landscape.
• Maintain data quality and consistency across key master data domains such as Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, etc.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and contribute to master data policies and procedures.
• Configure and support MDG components including data models, workflows, and validation rules.
• Participate in data migration and cleansing activities to improve data quality.
• Support integration of SAP MDG with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve master data-related issues.
• Help drive standardization and optimization of master data processes.
• Provide documentation, training, and user support for MDG tools and processes.
• Collaborate in global, cross-functional projects involving Master Data.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-7 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Cloud MDG.
• Experience with at least one global SAP MDG implementation.
• Good understanding of master data domains such as Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master, etc., and their integration with SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, etc.).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP MDG data models, workflows, and configuration.
• Familiarity with SAP Data Migration tools and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• SAP MDG or S/4HANA certifications are a plus.
