The SAP Manager is a leading performer in SAP ABAP development and solution design. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing SAP projects within scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise across RICEF objects, interfaces, SAP UI technologies, and API integration. The role involves leading development efforts across SAP functional areas, contributing to large-scale initiatives such as S/4HANA migration, and integrating with modern SAP technologies including BTP and SAP Fiori
- Lead the design and development of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects.
- Develop and maintain SAP Workflows, IDocs, ABAP Proxies, and Interface programs across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Integrate SAP with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, OData services, and other modern interface technologies.
- Develop and enhance applications using SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, ABAP Web Dynpro, Floor Plan Manager (FPM), CDS Views, and BOPF framework.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions in the areas of SAP TM, EWM, OTC, SCM, PP, and FI.
- Provide technical leadership during SAP S/4HANA migration and support conversion of custom code and integrations.
- Oversee code quality, technical design, and performance optimization.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring best practices and SAP development standards are followed.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and perform peer code reviews.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 6-8 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Technical SAP knowledge of SAP ABAP development including (Preferred:
- RICEF object development
- SAP Workflow
- IDocs and ABAP Proxies
- Interfaces (Inbound/Outbound)
- REST & SOAP APIs, OData Services
- SAP Fiori, SAP UI5
- CDS Views, BOPF, ABAP Web Dynpro, FPM
- Domain knowledge and hands-on development experience in (Preferred) :
- SAP TM (Transportation Management)
- SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
- SAP OTC (Order to Cash)
- SCM, PP, FI
- General knowledge of SAP business processes & SAP modules.
- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
- Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
- High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
- Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead. May be required to act in senior role, providing task related advice and direction to junior team members.
