Position Description As a Business Analyst (Logistics Execution), you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Learn business processes and relevant software technologies and participating in the development and implementation of new systems and solutions
- Maintain existing systems that support one or more departments, such as Logistics, Operations and Quality
- Interface with various departments within the organization to understand their needs, document requirements, and collaborate in the development, testing, and implementation of the solution
- Develop knowledge and skills in enterprise scale application design, development and implementation of systems, such as SAP, Quality and Production applications
- Participate in software validation activities to ensure that software solutions are designed to perform as intended
- Collaborate in the development of training material
- Support enterprise systems and business processes within one or more enterprise applications related to Quality, Logistics and Operations
- Work on latest relevant software technologies to provide computer software solutions and applications to the organization
Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Management or Business Administration
- 6 plus years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring SAP Logistics and Warehouse Management Modules on projects in a functional technical capacity
- Proficient technical writing skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to interface effectively with individuals
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with other team members to meet required timelines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- General knowledge of systems project lifecycle
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred The following skills and attributes are preferred:
- Experience with software validation
- Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management
- Experience with S/4 HANA
- Certification in Logistics and/or Warehouse Management would be ideal
Benefits The base compensation range for this role is $95000 - $135000 / year for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
