Scope of the Project The SCEIS is seeking the services of a Sales and Distribution (SD) Senior Consultant - Project Lead. The consultant will collaborate with SCEIS and state agencies to enhance the functionality of the Sales and Distribution module of SAP, particularly in relation to the maintenance and enhancement of the converted legacy billing and work order system to SAP.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities - Facilitate blueprinting and design sessions.
- Convey SAP capabilities within the SAP module.
- Collaborate with the SCEIS MM team, agency subject matter experts, and consultants from other modules as necessary.
- Create functional specification requirements.
- Configure SAP SD in the SCEIS system to meet client business requirements, including connection points with FI, MM, Plant Maintenance (PM), and other applicable modules.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and ensure processes are documented.
- Manage testing and roll-out activities.
- Assist with production support.
Required Skills - Comprehensive understanding of the SD module and its relationship to MM, FI, and PM.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams.
- 10-12 years of experience in SD and related modules, along with previous lead experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills - Experience in the public sector.
Required Education/Certifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
