SAP FICO Analyst Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension
Location: hybrid onsite schedule in Farmington Hills, MI
Apex Systems is working with a large automotive client to provide an SAP FICO Analyst who will provide ongoing system support for their SAP FICO solution.
The client is on SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and the main module focus areas are General Ledger (GL), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Requirements and Duties - Strong technofunctional (heavier functional) knowledge of SAP FICO and the aforementioned modules
- Ability to perform in-depth hands-on configuration of required SAP FICO modules
- Ability to read and debug ABAP code (but not perform any technical development)
- Track issues and enhancements
- Analyze problems and troubleshoot to find the root cause
- Help with solution design
- Provid first level support to the user community including troubleshooting and the resolution of production issues
- Creating and maintaining reports through SAP and Business Warehouse instances.
- Position may require ICS compliance activities as applicable.
- Ongoing user support - address user issues and trouble-shoot production problems, provide training and transaction assistance as required. Ability to work with shared services support to escalate system issues and communicate the status to impacted parties.
- Data monitoring - review system for posting errors (IDOC errors), and system and transaction failures
- Month-end close activities - address user issues, open & close accounting periods as needed, and ensure for the timely running of allocations.
- User training - provide guidance to individual users and conduct formal training sessions as required
- Nice to have experience with Jira and/or Solution Manager
