Role Title: SAP FICO Functional Consultant
Client: Industrial manufacturing company
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire
Preferred Location: 4 days onsite in Cary, NC (1 day remote)
Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to serve as the primary subject matter expert for our Cary, NC location. This role involves leading the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to optimize financial processes and business performance. The consultant will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and successful solution delivery. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, optimizing system functionality, configuring SAP FICO modules, and providing ongoing support for financial reporting, cost control, and compliance. Additionally, this role will support integration efforts with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with SAP FICO modules, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of functional configuration experience with FI/CO
- Experience engaging with business, extract business requirements and configure SAP solutions.
- S/4 HANA experience required
- Experience working with high-level stakeholders and business leaders

- Experience within any other modules such as P2P, QM, OTC/SD, MM, PP to support other SAP leads as needed cross-functionally
