Job Overview - Data Project Manager
At TE we strongly believe that data and AI are strategic drivers for future success. The Data and
AI teams at TE are part of the TE Information Solutions (TEIS) Organization and Corporate
Technology and are responsible for driving organic growth by leveraging Data and AI. We are
on an exciting journey to build and scale our Data and Analytics (D&A) practice; in this position
you will apply your skills to unlock opportunities and enable top strategic priorities for TE. You
will be working on building products that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning
technologies for diverse business functions such as Engineering, supply chain, pricing,
Industrial IOT, digital factory, digital marketing and sales growth that will impact business units
that span through multiple geographic areas.
Primary Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will manage a large team to deliver products and solutions that use SAP,
data and Analytics technologies.
Acts as the translator and negotiator between the business, D&A teams, and other IT
teams.
Apply project controls that may include but not limited to: Project scoping, identification
of timelines and key milestones, tracking project outcomes, budget, status reporting,
managing risk and issue logs, change control, and post implementation reviews.
Manage conversations and alignment at all levels up to VP/GM and follow through.
Drive technical, business, and cross teams to meet project milestones through
collaboration and influence.
Manage Data and Analytics Strategy and develop business cases / ROI.
Evaluate Data products to assess risks, define requirements, develop strategic
initiatives, manage sensitive use case management programs and processes, and
socialize the development and deployment.
Own all communication and collaboration channels pertaining to assigned projects,
including regular stakeholder review meetings and cross team alignments.
Work closely with the business, segment analytics, IT teams and partners to deliver the
outcome and help drive adoption.
Track business impact/value enabled through D&A solutions.
You Must Have:
10+ years of experience as Project Manager and/or program management for large
projects with focus on SAP, HANA, Data & Analytics
8+ years of professional experience with design and implementation of complex,
enterprise-wide related to data & AI architecture, data management, and Data Platform
migration programs.
SAP and Data experience - Understanding on how data is gathered, curated and
published from SAP into Analytics systems like SAP BW, HANA, Cloud, Oracle etc.
Should have experience in building out business cases / ROI / Enterprise Data and AI
Strategy roadmap.
Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and balance tasks/risks in
ambiguous and complex situations.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time-management, analytical and critical thinking
skills
Leverage data with leading/lagging measures to manage project execution.
Experience in guiding & providing direction to cross-functional and globally dispersed
project teams.
Practice excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear articulation of
business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience up to executives.
In depth knowledge in PMO standards, principles, methodologies (Agile & Waterfall) and
industry trends.
Ability to learn new development tools and productivity tools to continuously improve
effectiveness.
Flexibility to work occasional hours outside normal business, according to business
needs.

Experience in Agile-Scrum methodology, certification will be ideal.
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
PMO certification (PMP, Scrum Master)
Exposure to SAP, Data Engineering, D&A architecture patterns, BI and AI

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Business or Information Management
