Position Title: SAP Business Systems Analyst
Employee Status: Contract to Hire
Location: Omaha, NE
Purpose: In this role, the IT Business/Systems Analyst will document current state process, gather future state requirements, create process flows and translate business needs as it relates to delivering new ERP system. This individual will specifically be part of the SAP project stream and expected to embed with the project's Operating Committees as well as the Project Teams delivering the work, teetering the line between business and IT.
Responsibilities: - Elicit and document functional business requirements via discovery workshops, surveys, site visits and/or shadows.
- Construct process diagrams and workflows.
- Help to distinguish user requests from the underlying needs according to the project's business case. Apply objective prioritization models.
- Discover, organize, and clarify business needs and produce functional specifications for change.
- Communicate the details and value of features to the IT development team to ensure they understand the specifications.
- Assist in creating test plans and test scripts according to future state business process and system design.
- Coordinate with business units to test and evaluate the new or updated features.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) testing, as appropriate.
- Assist in the creation of end-user training material and participate in or lead training sessions.
- Ensure and coordinate knowledge transfer of project to appropriate support teams. Help with long-term SAP HANA support structure for the US.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
Work Requirements, Experience, Education, and Skills: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required; degree in Business Analysis, Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Experience with enterprise SAP ERP implementations, specifically in the SAP FICO modules required. S4 HANA experience preferred.
- SAP FICO data migration experience preferred, but not required.
- Proficient in business/system analysis and/or quality assurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely in oral, written, and presentation formats is essential.
- Aptitude to analyze, document, and solve complex business problems, motivate others and have some fun.
