Positions Summary

• Complete ownership of activities and resources related to ERP BASIS, accountable for building the BASIS function as independent, forward looking, efficient and effective team to meet Zoetis ERP operations goals.

• Collaborate with ZTD peers in determining requirements for Global system deployment and related business system support for System availability, performance improvements and Business continuity.

• Provides SAP Basis support in implementation of new projects, upgrades and migrations.

• Engage with hosting service provider and internal infrastructure team to enable the implementation, documentation, backup/system recovery, disaster recovery solutions for SAP and related systems.

• Participate and provide support in technical emergency events and ensure resolution by engaging and coordinating resources across multiple disciplines no matter when the failure occurs, minimizing business impact and ensuring effective communications. Responsible for system performance tuning, critical job monitoring, daily system health checks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage technical project plans and lead projects as required, as well as contribute as a team member to project teams.

• Develop or contribute to project implementation schedules and resources, prepare integration plans and secure appropriate resources for projects, engaging with the business and facilitating service delivery.

• Train and transfer knowledge to other team members, users and stakeholders as required.

• Participate in day-to-day SAP Basis and related Operations functions.

• Provide technical expertise in customer-facing systems such as Hybris and BillPay. Focus on Hybris/Vistex application impact on core SAP system to ensure optimal customer experience is maintained.

• Work with appropriate teams to ensure the technical building, ongoing support and operations of the SAP applications, BW, GRC, TDMS, Solution Manager and Hybris is per Zoetis requirements

• Provides SAP Basis support in implementation of new projects, upgrades and migrations

• Manage remediation of system vulnerability identified by corporate Information security team.

• Support the remediation of system vulnerability scans identified by tools such Onapsis and Solution Manager.

• Ensure customer expectations have been met through delivery and ongoing execution of services

• Participate and lead periodic health check meetings with third party service providers

• Assist in periodically evaluating SAP environments against pre-established performance benchmarks

• Perform thorough analysis to identify all potential impacts for change requests on system stability and performance.

• Manage the bi-weekly change management process in alignment with the ZDT Operations calendar.

• Responsible for creating documentation related to infrastructure, architectural diagrams, process and procedures and interfaces and updated as required

• Create and maintain production standard operation procedures (SOPs)

• Train and transfer knowledge to other team members, users and stakeholders as required

• Effectively and efficiently manage technical environment to enable uninterrupted business operations
