About the Role: The role of the Contractor - SAP Ariba is to support, plan, execute, and finalize purchasing and procurement strategies for the worldwide firm, incorporating the use of SAP Ariba. Knowledge and experience using SAP Ariba on the buyer side is required. The Contractor - SAP Ariba will help define the purchasing objectives and implement through the use of SAP Ariba to ensure best practices. This role will work in collaboration with worldwide accounts payable teams, the pricing director, office services and legal teams on purchasing initiatives and strategies utilizing SAP Ariba. Experience with Tier 2 diversity reporting a plus.
How you will make a difference as a Contractor - SAP Ariba with Fragomen: - Continuous improvements and enhancements to SAP Ariba, driving meaningful change by making recommendations based on best practice and real world examples.
- Onboarding worldwide vendors onto the SAP Ariba network.
- Implement and enforce purchasing policies and procedures, including those for equipment, hardware, software, operating goods, service providers and the Firm's travel and entertainment (T&E) policies.
- Monitor and analyze trends in spending to make recommendations for the future, and to identify areas for possible savings.
- Leverage purchasing of the firm through national service contracts, where applicable.
- Monitor vendor, service provider, outsourcer, and/or contractor performance to ensure quality of service.

- SAP Ariba experience is a must
- 3 to 7 years direct work experience in purchasing or procurement department including all aspects of strategy development and execution.
- International work and currency experience is a plus
- Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- General knowledge of accounting with analytical capabilities
- Experience working both independently and, in a team,-orientated, collaborative environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
