We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This role is critical to the success of our operations, ensuring that our facilities remain clean, safe, and compliant with all relevant health and safety regulations. As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sanitation protocols, training staff in these procedures, and overseeing their execution. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily sanitation operations, ensuring that all areas of the manufacturing facility are cleaned and sanitized according to established protocols and schedules.
• Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation SOPs, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as adherence to HACCP principles.
• Train and supervise sanitation staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that sanitation standards are consistently met.
• Work closely with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Production, to ensure sanitation protocols are integrated throughout the manufacturing process.
• Respond promptly to any sanitation-related issues or concerns, taking immediate corrective action as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of all sanitation activities, including inspections, training, and corrective actions.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in sanitation technology and procedures, incorporating these into our operations as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a sanitation supervisory role in the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of HACCP principles and their application in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience developing and implementing sanitation SOPs.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to train and supervise a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and address sanitation issues.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey complex sanitation procedures and regulations to staff at all levels.
• Proficiency in record-keeping and report-writing.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to perform all duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in a variety of environmental conditions.
• Certification in Sanitation or related field is an advantage.
