Your Responsibilities: - Prepare and analyze sample size piles of commodities.
- Record data to ensure accuracy for reporting needs.
- Load and unload oven with metals to ensure they are dry before testing.
- Accurately size samples before testing.
- Responsible for quality and accuracy of submitted samples.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Sort through and analyze required metals.
- Conduct general cleaning of lab and designated area as assigned.
- Communicate with supervisor and colleagues.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
What You'll Need: - Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of different metals.
- Ability to perform basic math, reading, and writing.
- Ability to lift and handle 20 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail required.
Education:
- High School graduate or GED-Equivalent required.
