What you will learn:
- Gain understanding of sample management processes, including barcoding, inventory, container printing, sampling handling, and proper sample storage.
- Develop creative solutions to streamline the sample management workflow.
Job Duties:
- Receive and maintain accurate inventory of samples in ELN (Benchling).
- Optimize container printing workflow and provide labeled containers to downstream team members.
- Develop and implement automated methods for tracking samples as they move through sample management process.
- Basic laboratory organizational skills
- Improving collaboration skills by working with a close-knit group of researchers
- Experience working in a biotech environment.
Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing a science related bachelor's degree.
Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $27.00/hr USD (pursuing bachelor's degree).
