Priority Review Date (Note - Posting may close at any time) Job Summary The Salesforce System Administrator is responsible for maintaining the University Connected Learning CRM instance. This role is expected to stay up to date with Salesforce releases and other necessary updates to resolve system-related issues. As part of a team, this role will help drive adoption of Salesforce across several internal departments and external use cases. A key goal will be to implement solutions that meet business needs in a way that will scale well within an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities - Collaborate on system analysis and design to optimize functionality and scalability across the organization.
- Configure software to meet customer technical requirements, and complete testing of new tools to gauge functionality against requirements
- Prepare documentation including training guides, and technical reference materials for ongoing support.
- Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving multiple systems
- Develop and deliver reports to support business needs and support data driven decision making across the organization.
- Provide user-facing support for technical issues
- Train users on new functionality as appropriate.
- Support development, testing, and implementation efforts across the team.

Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) with at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Preferences - Experience working with institutions of Higher Education is preferred
- Certified Salesforce Administrators preferred. Required within 6 months of hiring.
- 2+ years of experience is preferred, with specific preference to experience in Education Data Architecture ( EDA ) or 1+ year in EDA with experience configuring Salesforce Education Cloud
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce flow and dynamic forms
- Willingness to learn new tools and methodologies and adapt to organizational change
- Familiarity with Trailhead. Candidates are encouraged to include their Trailhead Profile URL in their application.
- Experience with OwnCompany, FormAssembly, Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Suite
- Familiar with database concepts
- Working knowledge of data collection and management, and the ability to translate data to operational value
- Demonstrated experience in adapting technology to solve business problems
- Comfortable with engaging in self-directed learning to solve technical problems
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills in consulting with customers and providing focused service deliverables
- Ability to manage multiple short-term and long-term projects simultaneously, individually and part of a team
- Customer service mindset with a focus on getting things done
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
