Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our Salesforce solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities, testing methodologies, and a passion for delivering top-notch software products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Test Planning and Design

  2. Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications.

  3. Ensure test coverage for all functional, integration, regression, and performance testing scenarios.

  4. Quality Assurance Execution

  5. Perform manual and automated testing of Salesforce customizations, integrations, and new features.

  6. Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, approval processes, and custom objects. Identify, log, and track defects in a bug-tracking system.

  7. Collaboration

  8. Work closely with developers, salesforce admins, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment.

  9. Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software on time

  10. Automation Testing

  11. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, or other Salesforce-compatible automation frameworks.

  12. Execute and analyze automated test results to ensure system stability

  13. Reporting and Documentation

  14. Provide detailed reports on testing progress, defect status, and quality metrics. Document test results and provide feedback to the development team for continuous improvement

Qualification

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in Salesforce QA or software testing roles.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce testing tools and automation frameworks.

  • Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce QA Specialist) are a plus

Preferred:

  • Experience with APIs and integration testing.

  • Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

  • Familiarity with CPQ beneficial
