Salesforce/Pardot Administrator to join our team. This role will be approximately 70% Pardot (Moving to Marketing Cloud Growth) and 30% Salesforce administration and will support the configuration, maintenance, and improvement of our Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement). The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a passion for optimizing marketing and education processes through automation and data integrity.
We are currently migrating to a new Salesforce org utilizing Education Cloud and within 1-2 years plan to move to Marketing Cloud Growth. This role would lead that migration in tandem with the Associate Director of Software Solutions.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: - Administer and maintain Salesforce and Pardot environments, ensuring data accuracy, platform stability, and user support.
- Create and manage automation including Engagement Studio programs, dynamic lists, segmentation rules, and completion actions in Pardot.
- Design and implement Salesforce workflows, validation rules, and custom objects/fields to support business needs.
- Develop reports and dashboards for sales and marketing performance tracking.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles in Pardot.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, specifically issues with the connection between Salesforce and Pardot.
- Collaborate with departments and users to plan and execute email campaigns, lead nurturing flows, and lead scoring models.
- Understanding of basic design and typographic principles (formatting, and UI)
- Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR , CAN - SPAM ) in all marketing automation efforts.
- Provide training and documentation for users across teams.
- Ability to diagram in Lucid chart and translate business requirements to documentation
- Strong understanding of merge-fields and understanding of how code/scripts can be leveraged to improve automations

Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) with at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Preferences - 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce and Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and Marketing Cloud).
- Priority given to candidates with Salesforce Administrator and/or Pardot Specialist certification(s).
- Experience with scripting and basic HTML / CSS for email templates is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and insights.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
