POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Affinaquest seeks a Salesforce Developer. A successful candidate will work in our Product Engineering department and contribute to our two products, AdvancementRM (AdvRM) and AthleticsRM (AthRM). They will possess Salesforce platform and managed package experience.

The candidate will be expected to anticipate working with our Product Engineering agile team focused on advancement\fundraising use cases. Reports to: VP of Product Engineering

Other key relationships: Product Management, Product Engineering, Support

Requirements

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS TO APPLY
  • BS degree in computer science, engineering, or STEM relevant degree.
  • 5+ years' experience with Salesforce software development best practices (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Flows, and SOQL) including unit testing and code review processes.
  • 3+ years' in product development.
  • 3+ years' of Salesforce CI\CD tools, processes, and usage.
  • 2+ years' of person account experience.
  • US-Based
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
  • Technical contributions to our Products AdvancementRM and AthleticsRM (managed packages).
  • Working closely with Product leaders and your peer engineers to gather and implement product, front-end, and back-end requirements.
  • Creating product backlog from business and technical requirements.
  • Assist clients in support by troubleshooting and resolving product level issues/questions.
  • Participating in Agile processes including daily standups, demos, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
IDEAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Salesforce certifications: Platform Dev I and II, AI Specialist, and others.
  • Experience in Product development of managed packages.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of various SDLCs and CI/CD concepts and processes.
  • Health Cloud and Education Cloud experience.
  • Salesforce Einstein and AgentForce experience.
  • Passion for setting and enforcing Salesforce best practices and coding standards that promote code reusability, maintainability, and performance.
POSITION LOCATION
  • Corporate Headquarters ( ASU SkySong, Scottsdale, AZ ) or Reston, VA Office
- Hybrid Office Policy: Employees near an office must be there on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to foster community and engagement.
