POSITION SUMMARY: Magellan Jets is seeking a dynamic and talented Salesforce Developer to join our team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing our Sales Cloud platform to streamline business processes and deliver a superior experience to our clients and internal teams. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer and be certified in Salesforce development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: As a Salesforce Developer, you will:
- Design and maintain tailored Salesforce solutions to meet business needs.
- Develop APEX code, including classes and triggers, to implement custom business logic effectively.
- Create engaging Visualforce pages and Lightning components to enhance user interfaces and improve user experience.
- Utilize Data Loader for seamless data import, export, and manipulation within the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design innovative solutions, and implement Salesforce enhancements.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems by leveraging APIs and various integration tools.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging of Salesforce solutions to ensure optimal performance and maintain data integrity.
- Assist in documenting technical specifications, workflows, and configurations for future reference.
COMPETENCIES: Knowledge:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
- Salesforce Developer Certification required
- Proficiency in Salesforce Sales Cloud and related objects
- Familiarity with Data Loader and data manipulation
- Experience with Salesforce integration with external systems
Skills:
- Experience in writing APEX code, including classes and triggers

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position doesn't have any supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Location: Primarily office-based, with 1 remote/ work from home day each week
- Conditions: General office environment with moderate noise levels. Occasional travel to aircraft or client locations may be required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Extended periods sitting at a desk or workstation
- Occasional walking/ movement between work areas (e.g., meetings, restrooms, or kitchen)
- Repetitive Hand and Wrist Movements via frequent typing and use of a mouse
- Light lifting of office supplies, documents, or equipment (up to 20 lbs)
- Screen Use: Prolonged use of a computer screen
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a Full-Time Exempt position.
TRAVEL: Limited, but may require occasional overnight travel for industry conferences, client meetings, or operational oversight at other locations.
