Position Title: Senior Salesforce Application Developer
Client: Government Agency
Location: Indianapolis, IN (First 90 days onsite 5 days a week for training, After that, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6-month+ ongoing
Summary:
The Sr. Salesforce Application Developer works under limited supervision to perform systems analysis, design, development, and administrative duties for Salesforce and other enterprise applications. This role is responsible for interpreting business requirements into technical solutions, performing hands-on development, testing, and supporting Salesforce implementations while adhering to established standards and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and implementing IT solutions.
- Experience working in high-demand, collaborative environments with tight deadlines.
Salesforce Development:
- 5+ years of experience with Salesforce Lightning.
- Advanced knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Proficient with Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL).
- Experience integrating external systems with Salesforce.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Communities, Governor Limits, and deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with MuleSoft ESB is a plus.
Web Development (Preferred):
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, JSP, CSS, HTML, and/or PHP.
General Technical Skills:
- Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
- Experience with other programming languages such as Java, Python, MS VBA, or VB.NET.
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and system interfaces.
CERTIFICATIONS (PREFERRED):
- Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Lightning Certification
