Scope of Work

Harmony Public Schools is seeking an experienced Salesforce CRM Architect to provide architectural oversight and technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive K-12 CRM solution built on the Salesforce platform.


Our goal is to create an all-in-one CRM environment that will serve students, parents, teachers, and school leaders. This system will handle everything from communication and document management to student success monitoring, enrollment, health, attendance, and more. We are currently working with a certified Salesforce implementation partner and have an internal Salesforce-certified team.


Objectives

- Ensure the overall architecture of the CRM is scalable, secure, and meets the needs of a K-12 school network.

- Provide expert guidance on Salesforce best practices, architecture, platform limits, access control, and data security.

- Oversee and support key project phases from requirement gathering to go-live.

- Help establish clear governance, user access policies, and platform security frameworks.

- Align the solution with user-centered design and ensure smooth integration with internal systems.

- Plan and support user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions.

- Provide input into the support model, escalation protocols, and post-implementation optimization strategies.


Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the architectural lead throughout the Salesforce CRM build.

- Collaborate with the Salesforce partner/vendor to ensure development standards are followed.

- Conduct technical design reviews and solution validation sessions.

- Define and optimize data models, sharing settings, and automation workflows.

- Contribute to testing strategy, go-live planning, and risk mitigation.

- Act as a trusted advisor to internal leadership on Salesforce roadmap and innovation opportunities.


Requirements

- 5+ years of Salesforce architecture and delivery leadership experience is preferred.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Education Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud and Experience Cloud.

- Proven track record in large-scale CRM implementation projects, preferably in the education or public sector.

- Strong understanding of data privacy, FERPA compliance, and K-12 operational processes is a plus.

- Salesforce certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, CTA are preferred).

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
