This role coordinates and fulfills department requests for functionality typically obtained through deeper or broader implementation of the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system. CRM is the focal point for constituent data management and is the system of record for all constituent data management functionality. The CRM Business Systems Manager will work as a Salesforce Administrator performing daily Salesforce administration and support including managing user setup, profiles and roles, and customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations. The CRM Business Systems Manager will work with the Business Systems Manager and internal business owners to interpret and actualize continual process improvement requirements as they surface. This person will be a key member of the "go to" team for requirements post-deployment.
Job Description: Seeking a skilled, experienced, and well-organized Business Systems Manager to provide ongoing support of our primary services support platform at the firm. This role is pivotal to the successful rollout and adoption of software and other automation tools for operations. This position is part of a team of 7 Business System Manager and Analyst positions covering core systems deployed here: CRM, Enterprise Resource Management (ERP), Enterprise Content Management (SharePoint), our services layer, and our data management and integration work.
Responsibilities - Contribute to the user experience with Salesforce products, tools, and services in a way that results in high customer satisfaction.
- Provide Tier 1 user support for issues or problems relating to use of the CRM platform.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity and assist users with report design and management.
- Upload data using Apex Data Loader and deployment using various tools within Salesforce.
- Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Work closely across functions to create schedule and deliverables by defining the scope, objectives, metrics, and plan for both business process improvements and specific projects.
- Support third party applications to drive solutions to business process issues.
- Manage the operational aspects of the application interface, user access, and application security.
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to business process owners and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and data security procedures.
Qualifications - 1 + years Salesforce, Non-Governmental Organization Connect(NGOConnect), fundraising, and/or other application experience.
- Experience with cloud solutions, data modeling, database concepts, and data management.
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Ability to translate technical specifications into customer / business requirements.
- Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem.
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience working within both a team environment and independently.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to synthesize and interpret technical data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with typical non-profit CRM constituents and business functions (Fundraising, Recruitment, Marketing, Service Cloud).
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems.
- Certified Salesforce Administrator.
- Experience supporting tools and applications such as Marketo, DemandTools, Conga.
