The Salesforce Business Solutions Architect will be responsible for technical development and design on the Salesforce Platform in coordination with business and third-party development teams to transform the CRM experience within Digital Catering & In-Flight Solutions. The Salesforce Business Solutions Architect will be actively involved in requirements gathering across business groups and will be expected to bring technical Salesforce skills to the team.
This role will actively build solution components, thoroughly test development, and ensure quality throughout our product development and enhancement lifecycle. The Salesforce Business Solutions Architect is experienced and apprised of the constantly changing technology stack of the Salesforce platform, who works alongside their colleagues, participates in building our team culture and supports our aligned Digital Catering & In-Flight Solutions organization to create innovative solutions that meet and enhance business needs.
Responsibilities:
Business Alignment and Strategy
Work with stakeholders to define data rules, standardize business processes and establish development best practices across Salesforce org
Gather business requirements from various business teams and translate to technical design/development or configuration on the Salesforce platform
Solution Design and Delivery
Manage testing and deployment activities internally and with third-party development teams
Understand and maintain systems and processes integrated into the Salesforce platform as well as data flows leveraging APIs, web services and other ETL tools
Write and automate unit, integration, incremental user stories and end-to-end testing
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Stay abreast of emerging Salesforce capabilities and identify opportunities to enhance
the platform's functionality
Recommend and implement innovative features to improve user experience and business outcomes
Build and maintain a roadmap for Salesforce enhancements that aligns with organizational priorities
Enablement and Support
Develop and share best practices for platform usage and ensure team members are
empowered to maximize Salesforce's potential
Provide ongoing support for critical enterprise applications and troubleshoot issues proactively
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- SalesforceCertified Developer with 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience
- Strongexpertise in translating business needs into effective technical solutions
- Experienceworking with enterprise orgs, managing deployment packages, and adhering toarchitectural design patterns
- Familiaritywith SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, APIs, and cloud services such as AWS
- Proactiveproblem-solving skills, with the ability to recommend solutions that align withbusiness priorities
- Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embracesdiverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Possessesa high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Isat least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
