Title: Salesforce Business Analyst
Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: 36 Months
Mandatory Qualifications
1. The Salesforce Business Analyst must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or
Business Management from an accredited college or university. Additional qualifying experience
may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Four (4) years of
experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree. The substituted experience must be in
addition to the required years of experience. Example: If the experience requirement is five (5)
years, and the individual is substituting four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's
degree, a total of nine (9) years must be submitted to claim this qualification.
2. The Salesforce Business Analyst must have a minimum of three (3) years of full-time equivalent
(FTE) experience within the last 7 years as a Salesforce Business Analyst on a Salesforce
implementation project. The Salesforce Business Analyst will translate what the Customer
business needs and how to get this accomplished within the Salesforce solution by asking why
and how Customer stakeholders do their key business processes. In addition, the role of a
Salesforce Business Analyst is to gather and/or confirm business needs to prepare User stories,
produce "to-be" process maps, and document detail reason why something was implemented.
Other key activities that this role performs are a gap analysis, prepare user acceptance test
plans, and participates in stakeholder communication.
3. The Business Solutions Analyst must have a minimum of two (2) years of FTE experience as a
Business Solutions Analyst a Salesforce Public Sector - Government implementation project.
4. The Salesforce Business Analyst must have a minimum of five (5) years of FTE experience as a
Salesforce Business Analyst for a Salesforce SaaS implementation, a project budget of at least
$10 million, and a project duration of at least two years in Calif. State Government.
5. The Salesforce Business Analyst must have certification as a Salesforce Business Analyst.
Desirable Qualifications
1. The Salesforce Business Analyst must be certified by the International Institute of Business
Analysis (IIBA) as a Certified Business Analyst (CBAP). The certifications must be active and not
expire by the time of proposal submission. Submit a copy of the Certified Business Analyst
Professional.
2. The Salesforce Business Analyst has a minimum of one (1) to five (5) years of FTE experience
within the last 10 years of implementing Salesforce. The Salesforce application system must be
for a state, county or city government with a population greater than 1,000,000 people.
3. The Salesforce Business Analyst has a minimum of one (1) to five (5) years of FTE experience
within the last 10 years implementing Salesforce - Public Sector Government.
4. The Salesforce Business Analyst has a minimum of one (1) to five (5) years of FTE experience
within the last 10 years implementing State of CA Technology Implementation project
experience.
5. The Salesforce Business Analyst has a minimum of one (1) to five (5) years of FTE experience
within the last 10 years implementing other State & Local Government projects.
