Job Title: Salesforce Administrator (Contract Position)
Location: Portsmouth, NH/ Hybrid (3 days/week onsite REQUIRED)
Duration: 12 months with possible extension

About the Role:
We're seeking a proactive and technically skilled Salesforce Administrator to support a client organization undergoing a significant Salesforce transformation. This is a contract role where you'll work closely with the Salesforce Program Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure the platform is optimized, maintained, and continuously improved to meet business needs.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on admin experience, Salesforce certification, and some background in development, allowing them to bridge the gap between configuration and light customization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily administration of the Salesforce environment, including user setup, profiles, roles, and permissions
  • Manage data integrity, imports, exports, and de-duplication efforts
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, flows, custom fields, page layouts, and other configuration elements
  • Collaborate closely with the Program Manager, business stakeholders, and technical teams to implement system enhancements
  • Assist in defining system requirements, testing, and deployment of changes
  • Support release management, sandbox refreshes, and post-deployment activities
  • Participate in user training, documentation, and support
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards, security protocols, and best practices

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator)
  • 3+ years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Experience with declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Components)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional solutions
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud
  • Familiarity with Salesforce development tools and deployment processes (e.g., Change Sets, VS Code, Git)
  • Experience working in a multi-stakeholder or matrixed environment
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, etc.)
