Principal Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Hire, lead, train, and supervise the Sales Support Coordinator team.
  • Assign and direct work while monitoring performance, quality, and overall team productivity.
  • Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and professional development to support individual and team success.
  • Approve timecards and monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate support coverage.
  • Ensure team adherence to internal systems and processes including OMS, Salesforce, and other proprietary platforms.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment on company and departmental goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and maintain regular check-ins to promote employee engagement.
  • Engage with Sales Managers to communicate and collaborate between sales and sales support.
Sales Support Responsibilities
  • Administers, verifies, and submits accurate product orders by communicating with sales consultants and customers, and having sound knowledge of Marvin products, systems, and procedures.
  • Formulates product proposals by effectively and accurately sizing rough openings and blueprints, communicating with customers and utilizing automated systems.
  • Verifies contracts/proposals to ensure the correct product is ordered, built, and delivered to the customer.
  • Assists in calling and following-up on leads, processing customer requests, service and change orders.
  • Assist with customer walk-ins and call-ins, demonstrating product to customers and educating them on Marvin offerings.
  • Performs basic blueprint take-offs by accurately reading and interpreting client blueprints.
  • Use software systems to enter orders, provide quotes and complete accurate information to Sales Consultants or Customers.
  • Promotes and facilitates continuous improvement activities in the department.
  • Meets company safety requirements.
  • Supports special events scheduled in the showroom space.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (or Equivalent experience) and 2-year customer service or general business experience is required. Proven experience in employee supervision and development. Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology and/or window and door applications or components preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Computer Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software applications. Will be expected to develop proficiency in Marvin proprietary software (i.e. OMS, Salesforce, etc.).

Language & Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written English language skills are required as well as good public relations, public speaking, and customer service skills. Ability to read, interpret, understands and explain documents such as blueprints, sales processes, product specifications or warranty manuals. Ability to effectively present information to others, gather information from others, and respond appropriately to questions from customers, co-workers and managers. Must display excellent phone and email etiquette. Must be able to present appropriate professionalism for the situation when interacting with customers or coworkers.

Must be a team player and exhibit a strong desire to learn and promote self-growth. Must be pro-active, self-disciplined, self-motivated, and have a demonstrated ability to follow projects through to completion. Attention to detail is required. Mathematical Skills

Ability to subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform calculations using units of money, time, measurement, etc. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, length, width, height, and depth. Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra, geometry and general business math.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel, especially with use of the phone and computer. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear especially in use of the telephone and meetings. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Time commitment required of this position will vary with the seasons.

Work Environment

Work environment with this job primarily includes the typical office environment. The noise level of this job is typically moderate. Employees in office positions may occasionally enter warehouse work areas.
