JOB SUMMARY

Cabinet Distribution Group LLC is a leading cabinet distributor specializing in high-quality cabinetry solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional products and services to our customers, ensuring satisfaction every step of the way. We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Support Specialist, focusing on order entry.

The Sales Support - Order Entry position is a critical role within our team. This individual will be responsible for accurately entering sales orders and ensuring smooth communication between the sales team and purchasing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in managing multiple tasks efficiently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Oversee the Open Order and Change Order emails
  • Create job folders on the server
  • Accurately import customer orders into the order management system, ensuring all details (products, quantities, pricing, etc.) are correct.
  • Create vendor purchase orders
  • Post new orders to the Purchasing Job Boards
  • Create Warehouse Pick Tickets
  • Review Vendor acknowledgements for accuracy and reconcile sales and purchase orders
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Previous experience in order entry, sales support, or customer service preferred.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Excellent data entry and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software (experience with Sage 100 is a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the cabinetry industry is advantageous
