Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in the sale of insulation products to general contractors, home builders, and construction companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the building materials industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage a territory of general contractors and home builders to promote and sell insulation products. This includes managing a current book of business and prospecting for new customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers in the residential and commercial construction sectors.
  • Conduct product presentations, on-site visits, and consultations to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate insulation solutions.
  • Negotiate pricing, prepare quotes, and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and product innovations.
  • Track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to build brand awareness and foster new business relationships.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of proven sales experience. We can teach the industry and help you become a domain expert.
  • Strong network within the general contracting and homebuilding community is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
