Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in the sale of insulation products to general contractors, home builders, and construction companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the building materials industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales. This role is responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage a territory of general contractors and home builders to promote and sell insulation products. This includes managing a current book of business and prospecting for new customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers in the residential and commercial construction sectors.
- Conduct product presentations, on-site visits, and consultations to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate insulation solutions.
- Negotiate pricing, prepare quotes, and close sales to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and product innovations.
- Track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software and provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to build brand awareness and foster new business relationships.
Qualifications:- 2+ years of proven sales experience. We can teach the industry and help you become a domain expert.
- Strong network within the general contracting and homebuilding community is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication platforms.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
