Our client-a leading furniture and design showroom in Boca Raton-is looking for a Sales & Showroom Manager who combines sales savvy with operational excellence and a leadership mindset.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience managing retail furniture or design showrooms, and is ready to step into a pivotal leadership position. You'll manage the day-to-day operations of the showroom, lead and expand the sales team, and drive results through improved processes, team engagement, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the inside sales team (currently 2, with plans to grow to 4+) and help develop a future outside sales team
- Serve as the daily showroom leader and key holder, responsible for opening the store and setting the tone for team performance and client service
- Partner with the Controller, VP, and leadership team to optimize operations while owning day-to-day execution
- Improve and implement processes for tracking leads, orders, and client communications
- Promote a culture of accountability, especially around time management, follow-up, and proactive client engagement
- Drive a sales-first approach, supporting both individual sales goals and overall showroom performance
- Manage client-facing challenges, including rush orders, schedule changes, and product inquiries with a solution-oriented mindset
- Collaborate with trade professionals (A&D), and help expand the client base into hospitality and healthcare sectors when relevant
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience in showroom, retail, or sales management-preferably in furniture, lighting, art, or design manufacturing
- Proven success in sales leadership, staff management, and operations
- Experience working with interior designers, architects, and trade professionals
- Confident handling high-expectation clientele and complex order processes
- Strong systems thinking with a desire to build and refine operational structure
- Familiarity with CRM or order tracking systems (experience implementing or improving systems is a plus)
- A motivational, collaborative, and disciplined leadership style
