Responsibilities of Sales Representative (Electronic Components):

Meet or exceed assigned sales objectives and revenue quotas.

Analyze customer needs within the market and coordinate with the Engineering Department to improve upon existing products.

Initiate and complete all phases of the sales process including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, scheduling appointments, making presentations, understanding business needs, developing solutions and proposals, forecasting, and overcoming objections to close the sale.

Acquire new OEM clients or build volume growth with existing clients.

Develop and manage account/territory plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.

Report current status of defined accounts in defined territory, including installed product base, projects and key initiatives, to sales management.

Provide feedback on OEM product offering design and development processes.

Perform all administrative responsibilities in a timely manner in order to meet expectations of forecast and expense reporting.

Acquire proper level of knowledge for all company's products and solution offerings

Actively develop skill set by participating in required education during the calendar year




Qualifications of Sales Representative (Electronic Components Sales):

Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience

5+ years business to business sales experience

5+ years technology sales experience

Experience with custom engineered/engineered-to-build products

Knowledge of: Battery, Battery Devices, Battery Packaging, DC-DC Converter, Power Supply, Back Up Power System.

Must be able to travel up to 25%

Customs Engineered Electronic parts/components knowledge

Demonstrated sales track record with industry contacts and proven experience selling OEM products

Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills

Ability to effectively communicate and interface with all clients levels, from operational through C-level, as well as peers and executive level management in the company
