Job Summary This is an outside sales role focused on promoting the company's products and services while building and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients. The primary goal is to support customer success while meeting established sales and profit targets. Non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) may be required to accommodate customer needs. Responsibilities Develop new business, expand existing accounts, and reduce customer churn to drive profitable sales growth within the assigned territory. Identify and qualify new prospects in alignment with company account strategies. Understand customer business needs and recommend tailored product and service solutions. Monitor market trends and suggest relevant products to meet customers' business goals. Stay informed on market conditions, competitors' offerings, and product innovations; share insights with customers as part of value-added service. Address customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and usage. Provide product training and education to customer personnel. Travel to customer sites, conventions, and company meetings using a personal vehicle. Manage accounts receivable in collaboration with the credit department, collecting outstanding balances per approved credit terms. Coordinate deliveries with the transportation department and resolve issues related to out-of-stock or special-order items. Participate in company functions, promotions, customer visits, and events. Attend sales and district meetings and participate in ongoing training. Assist with onboarding and training new employees as requested. Analyze daily and weekly sales reports, customer bids, and profit margin data. Handle administrative tasks, including preparing budgets, sales quotes, and reports, processing credits and pick-up requests, and maintaining sales records. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field OR high school diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in restaurant management, B2B or outside sales, or comparable experience, including completion of the Sales Internship. Preferred Qualifications Bi-lingual proficiency. Experience in restaurant management, foodservice sales, or as a chef is preferred.
