They are seeking a driven Sales Rep to help grow the territory in and around Norfolk, NE, with little to no overnight travel required. This is an established business with existing clients, but this role will have a heavy focus on growing new business. The position offers a monthly base salary, as well as monthly commissions with significant earning potential based on performance.
About the Role - Successful candidates are highly driven, who possess good communication skills, a willingness to learn technology, a great work ethic and the ability to self-manage. The position does not come with a steady flow of leads, but rather rewards the individual who can create needs satisfaction sales opportunities in exchange for maximum commission payout. The most successful candidates are those willing to focus on the activities most are not willing to do, such as prospecting, to achieve consistent success. However, once established, the position will offer repeat sales opportunities creating increased income as the territory continues to mature.
Responsibilities
- Results driven; achieve monthly revenue and profit objectives
- Have a positive and proactive attitude
- Be the primary contact for customers within the territory, with a good grasp of who the main decision-makers are within each of their accounts
- Build rapport with customer to best understand needs. Utilize corporate and support resources to address and implement our solutions
- Be self-disciplined to perform the daily activities required to achieve desired results:
- Prospect & make cold calls
- Plan, schedule appointments, demos, trials & proposals
- Call, email & follow-up on communications
- Marketing and promotional activities & thank you notes
- Manage customers within the customer database system
- Developmental training
- Exceptional Customer Care
Qualifications - 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience with a proven track record required. Industry experience preferred.
