What You'll Do:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers by marketing products, commodities, and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted product/service introductions and strategic sales initiatives.
- Serve as a key contact for customers and suppliers-resolving issues, answering inquiries, and offering expert guidance.
- Investigate and manage customer complaints related to product quality, specs, and delivery; coordinate inspections and determine best resolution strategies.
- Oversee logistics and distribution to meet legal and customer requirements; ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Monitor customer credit limits and manage inventory levels, movements, and account balances to ensure timely invoicing and payments.
What You Bring:
- Experience working with service centers in the steel/metals industry.
- Strong understanding of steel specs, sourcing, and market dynamics.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, plus 7+ years of relevant experience.
