We are delighted to be supporting our client, a global leader in diagnostic, measurement and monitoring technology in the energy industry, with their search for a high performing Sales Representative.


As the Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and developing new business opportunities for radiation detection instruments within the oil & gas industry.


This role focuses on prospecting and outreach to key decision-makers in drilling, refining, pipeline operations, and NDT services, ensuring they are aware of radiation monitoring solutions.


The role requires a self-motivated sales professional with strong prospecting and closing skills. While experience in B2B sales in the oil & gas sector is preferred, it is not a requirement.


Candidates with prior target-driven sales experience, particularly those with a track record of contacting and closing deals with new customers, are encouraged to apply. Full training on products and industry applications will be provided.


Key Responsibilities


Prospecting & Lead Generation:

  • Identify and engage potential customers in the oil & gas industry, including HSE managers, Radiation Protection teams, drilling contractors, NDT service providers, and operations leaders.
  • Conduct outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking to introduce solutions.
  • Schedule and attend face-to-face or virtual meetings to discuss customer needs.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Present radiation detection instruments and their benefits for NORM monitoring, pipeline inspections, well logging, and hazardous area operations.
  • Develop an understanding of customer pain points and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, product specialists, and technical teams) to support customer requirements.

Pipeline & Performance Management:

  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and follow-up process using CRM tools.
  • Track sales performance metrics and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
  • Regularly report on progress, key wins, and challenges.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in B2B sales within the oil & gas sector.
  • Strong ability to identify, engage, and close new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline, follow up on leads, and work independently.
  • Prior knowledge of radiation detection is not required-full training will be provided.
