Remote Sales Representative - Recycling Industry
Location: Remote (Ideal candidates located in the Central, Upper Midwest, or Southeast U.S.-e.g., IA, MI, MN, WI, ND, SD, NE, IL)

Compensation: $80,000 base + uncapped commission (20-25% of gross profit)
Are you an experienced sales professional with a deep understanding of the recycling industry and a book of business ready to go? A fast-growing, privately owned recycling company is seeking a relationship-driven Sales Representative to help expand its national client base across key U.S. markets.
What You'll Do:
- Source and manage accounts focused on recyclable materials (paper, plastic, metals) from large-scale enterprises (e.g., big box retailers, logistics companies, packaging suppliers)
- Close 6-10 high-value deals per month with long sales cycles
- Focus on consultative selling and strategic partnerships rather than transactional or quote-based sales
- Use ZoomInfo, Seamless, and CRM tools to help identify and track leads
- Collaborate with leadership to set mutually agreed-upon goals
- Cold call and develop new relationships
- Work remotely with flexible hours - no travel required
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of sales experience in the recycling industry
- Proven success selling recycled materials (metal, paper, plastic)
- Experience managing large national accounts and navigating complex sales cycles
- Brings an existing book of business or strong industry network
- Comfortable with a laid-back, low-pressure sales culture focused on relationships and results over metrics
- College degree preferred only if early career; not required with relevant experience
