Volt is immediately hiring for a Sales Representative in the Idaho Falls area.

As a Sales Rep, you will:

  • Drive sales growth by developing and executing targeted strategies within the food service, wastewater treatment, and mining industries.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities in these sectors through market research and industry networking.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders in food service, wastewater treatment, and mining companies.
  • Conduct client visits to understand their specific chemical needs and operational challenges, offering tailored solutions.
  • Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals highlighting the value of our chemical solutions for these applications.
  • Monitor market trends, regulations, and competitor activities within the chemical supply chain for these industries.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass ambitious sales targets within the focused sectors.
  • Provide clear sales reports and forecasts to management, detailing progress within the food service, wastewater treatment, and mining markets.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted promotional materials and campaigns for chemical buyers in these industries.
  • Represent the company professionally at relevant industry events to generate leads within the food service, wastewater treatment, and mining sectors
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or business discipline (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience (preferred), demonstrating a strong focus on chemical sales to clients in the food service, wastewater treatment, and/or mining industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of chemical applications, industry-specific requirements, and relevant regulations within the food service, wastewater treatment, and mining sectors.
  • Documented success in identifying and securing new business, effectively closing sales, and delivering persuasive presentations to clients in these markets.
  • Outstanding ability to establish and maintain strong, long-term client relationships within the target industries.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed goals.
  • Superior consultation, negotiation, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new chemical product lines and applying that knowledge to address specific client needs within these sectors.
  • Well-developed professional sales and territory management skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
  • Capability to perform necessary on-site technical/mechanical testing.
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
