Our client is looking for a Sales/Project Coordinator to join a Japanese World Class Body shop Builder. The Sales/Project Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day business coordination that includes Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management and Manpower, as well as to achieve customer requirements and meet deadlines of projects.

Requirements/Qualifications:
- 2-3 years exp. in sales/project coordination/management.
- Ability to speak, read, and write Japanese is a plus.
- Have previous project management experience.
- Able to travel (10%).
- Deadline and analytical driven.
- Customer-oriented.
- Professional-oriented (internally/externally).
- Ability to present, lead, and delegate.
- Sales/Negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, and Outlook.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Oversee, manage, and analyze ongoing projects and other assigned tasks to meet schedule deadlines.
- Make necessary adjustments regarding manpower, work hours/schedule, and materials.
- Address and resolve issues regarding projects and other assigned tasks.
- Ability to make decisions when necessary; regarding team meetings, identified issues, scheduling adjustments, timing, and departmental responsibilities (seeking concrete solutions).
- Maintains close communication with other managers regarding ongoing projects and other assigned tasks.
- Complete quality checks of in-house and outsourced documents, drawings, manufactured parts, machines & equipment"s, and installation work.
- Making necessary corrections if quality does not meet company standards and identifying the root cause.
- Establishing relationship with outsourcing companies
- Seek estimate, evaluate the estimate budget vs. cost, and negotiate the price and delivery.
- Monitors project budget and actual cost so that the project stays within the budget.
- New supplier development: Develop a new supply chain based on workload, improvement of quality and delivery time.
- Creates estimates that contain information about cost and profit.
- Create supporting documents such as layout drawing, specification, reference drawing from the past project, machinery catalog, area of responsibility, schedule, etc. After the submission of the estimate and supporting documents, proceed to negotiation.
- Project start-up: Gather necessary information and give a presentation about the entire project to related departments.
- Ability to present project start up from start to finish.
- Provide analyze detail of issues identified and resolutions
- Provide updates on projects with profit and loss.
- Project review: Determine profit and loss. If profit was less than originally estimated, analyze the entire project to identify the issues
- Arrange necessary manpower and vendors.
- Work closely with the Design department in coordinating drawing releases.
- Work with customer and logistics companies to schedule and plan all project shipping activities.
- Communicate with assembly to coordinate shipping preparation and loading activity.
