LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading professional services and security firm with offices in downtown Chicago to identify a new Sales & Pricing Analyst
This candidate will own all Salesforce Lightening reporting, partner with the Chief Revenue Officer on sales data analytics, create and maintain pricing models, and utilize both Excel and Power BI.

The Sales and Pricing Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing our pricing models, analyzing sales data, and providing actionable insights to drive revenue growth. This position requires a unique blend of analytical skills, technical proficiency, and business acumen to support our sales team and executive leadership in making data-driven decisions.

This role is back in the office 5x a week and is budgeted up to a base of $115,000 with additional bonus eligibility.

Sales and Pricing AnalystResponsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain pricing models and tools to support the sales team in creating competitive and profitable proposals
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to visualize key sales metrics and KPIs
  • Administer and optimize Salesforce Lightning to ensure data accuracy and improve sales processes
  • Conduct competitive analyses and market research to inform pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment on pricing strategies
  • Support the sales team with proposal development and pricing recommendations
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and challenges
  • Monitor and analyze win/loss rates and identify factors influencing sales outcomes
  • Participate in the development of annual sales targets and forecasts

Sales and Pricing AnalystRequirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field
  • 2-4+ years of experience in sales operations, pricing analysis, financial analysis, or similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and VBA
  • Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizations
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning, including administration and customization
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in services industry pricing preferred
  • Understanding of financial concepts including profit margins, revenue recognition, and cost structure
  • Advanced Excel: Complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, macros, VBA
  • Salesforce Lightning: Administration, customization, reporting, and workflow automation
  • Power BI: Dashboard creation, data visualization, report development, DAX formulas
  • Data Analysis: Statistical analysis, trend identification, forecasting, scenario modeling
  • Additional Preferred Skills SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation
