$60,000-$68,000 base salary + up to $12,000/year performance bonus

We're independently owned, profitable, and scaling with purpose. We're now hiring a full-time Sales Operations Manager to take ownership of our customer-facing sales: farmers markets, retail, wholesale, and in-store demos.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, salaried role that blends field leadership with systems thinking. You'll manage a 20-25 person weekend sales team, oversee our retail shop, keep wholesale accounts and demos on track, and coordinate closely with production and logistics to make sure everything runs on time - and nothing gets missed.
You'll share weekend oversight with our General Manager (who leads distribution/logistics), and you'll report directly to the founder.
What You'll Own- Manage hiring, scheduling, and training for 20-25 market & shop reps
- Oversee performance across 18+ weekend farmers markets
- Manage staffing and inventory at our Ferry Building retail shop
- Maintain wholesale relationships ( 25 accounts) and support reorder cadence
- Lead our grocery store demo program (you'll have help, but you own the process)
- Submit weekly sales summaries and handle field team communication
- Collaborate with GM on staffing, inventory flow, and equipment readiness
- Work weekend shifts and remain available both days for support
Your Weekly Rhythm- Monday: Work Ferry shop + recap weekend
- Tuesday: Admin / account visits / grocery demos
- Wednesday-Thursday: Days off
- Friday: Work shop + receive product + prep for weekend
- Saturday-Sunday: Work one shift at our shop or farmers markets + oversee 8-10 markets via phone/text
What We're Looking For- 2-5+ years experience in food retail, hospitality, farmers markets, or CPG field ops
- You've led part-time/hourly teams and know how to motivate people remotely
- Strong written & verbal communicator, organized, and deadline-oriented
- Comfortable working in-person and being on-site during peak shifts
- Based in the Bay Area and able to work weekends
- Familiar with tools like Slack, Google Sheets, Square, and bonus points for ChatGPT
Compensation & Benefits- Base Salary: $60,000-$68,000/year
- Quarterly Bonus: Up to $3,000/quarter based on performance (up to $12,000/year)
