PeerSource is currently recruiting for a Sales & Merchandising Manager on a Direct Hire basis. This role is based out of Yuma, AZ.
Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Sales & Merchandising Manager to drive performance across regional retail locations. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with a strong retail sales background, merchandising expertise, and a passion for building high-performing sales teams. The successful candidate will work closely with store leadership to elevate retail presentation, coach sales associates, and ensure that every customer experience aligns with brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of Sales Associates across multiple locations, using sales metrics to drive accountability.
- Conduct regular one-on-one performance reviews to identify trends, provide coaching, and align sales expectations.
- Foster a performance-driven culture through defined standards, scorecards, and protocols.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure product presentation aligns with visual merchandising standards
- Resolve merchandising issues related to cleanliness, signage, product placement, and inventory changes.
- Collaborate with store teams to execute floor resets, seasonal updates, and removal of discontinued or sold items.
- Provide operational support across locations, including stepping into execution roles as needed and streamlining administrative tasks.
- Partner with customer support team to coordinate customer service and scheduling.
- Drive adoption of standardized processes and tools, ensuring consistent reporting, feedback, and operational execution.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, retail multi-unit management, or merchandising roles with high accountability.
- Strong track record in performance coaching, sales metrics analysis, and team development.
- High attention to detail in retail presentation and visual merchandising.
- Assertive, organized, and self-driven, with the ability to work autonomously while aligning with broader team goals.
- Comfortable using data to evaluate sales performance and make informed decisions.
- Able to identify operational inefficiencies and implement proactive solutions.
- Experience in high-ticket retail environments is preferred.
