POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for sales and sales support functions in assigned areas, ensure all channels increase profitability, maximize margins and successfully attain corporate objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Attain sales growth and profitability objectives by evaluating operations and making strategic decisions.
  • Manage and supervise sales team, including but not limited to, establish objectives, hire, and discipline, terminate, train and ensure all administrative processes are in compliance with the Company's policies.
  • Partner with sales management to define strategy for existing and new distribution channels, new product opportunities in current locations, and expansion into new territories.
  • Identify opportunities and new prospects, including but not limited to, analyze new account potential, initiate, develop, and close sales cycle. Responsible for achieving EBITDA and sales goals.
  • Oversee Key Performance Indicator (KPI) databases to quantify sales performance; including but not limited to, daily sales, volume/price, margin, spoilage, expense and over/under performing accounts.
  • Ensure that all accounts receivable processes and procedures are being followed by sales team.
  • Monitor and take corrective action on any issue which will impact assigned areas' financial results; provide key adjustments to preserve healthy profit margins.
  • Address internal audit findings to ensure that a corrective action plan is developed and implemented.
  • Oversee the Promotions management and ensure the fulfillment of responsibilities of their roles, and ensure the Promotions team has a good working relationship with Sales.
  • Ongoing performance monitoring - evaluate performance, identify opportunities and execute changes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Seven (7) years of sales experience
  • Three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Four (4) years sales experience with account management
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish reading, writing & speaking Professional proficiency.

  • Bachelors in Business, Management or related field
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry
  • Expertise in the Hispanic consumer/market
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSA's)
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals
  • Proven ability to motivate self and others
  • Ability to work within a matrix organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, must be able to communicate effectively both in person and on the phone.
  • Great relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to make recommendations for solutions based on information gathered and analyzed from existing systems and/or imperfect information
  • Proven analytical and negotiation skills with attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Project management skills
  • ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days at a time.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone
