Trident Search has teamed up with a top-tier cybersecurity company specialising in Attack Surface Management and Continuous Testing. Backed by well-known venture capital firms and led by a founding team with multiple successful exits, the company is expanding into the U.S. market and building out a new team.


Position: Sales Manager (Individual Contributor)

You'll be instrumental in helping the company establish its presence in the U.S., specifically within the West Coast. We're seeking someone with a strong background in cybersecurity sales who can manage the full sales cycle independently.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively reach out to prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events to consistently build a robust pipeline (aiming for 5x coverage).
  • Navigate complex sales cycles, accurately forecast deals, and close new business.
  • Partner with marketing to refine outbound messaging strategies.
  • Collaborate internally to develop and execute growth strategies within your territory.
  • Handle both outbound prospecting and follow-ups on inbound leads.
  • Research and map out key contacts within target accounts; develop tailored outreach to drive interest.
  • Clearly communicate the company's solution and its unique value.
  • Engage senior-level executives, delivering strategic insights and aligning solutions with business needs.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Use a consultative selling approach, adapting to customer feedback and evolving needs.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly sales targets while upholding company values.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • At least 5 years of end-to-end sales experience in cybersecurity SaaS.
  • Strong skills in outbound prospecting and building pipeline through both channel and direct sales.
  • A proven ability to meet/exceed sales quotas with low customer turnover.
  • Solid experience working with sales enablement and operations teams.
  • Proficiency with CRMs like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar sales qualification frameworks.
  • Experience working in start-up or low-support environments.

Location: Remote, ideally based in or willing to relocate to one of these states: CA, WA, OR
