Job Title: Sales Manager (Santa Clara County)

Target Compensation Range: $75,000 - $90,000/year + sales incentives, depending on the level of relevant qualifications and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Identify, develop, build and foster positive relationships with agent broker partners to promote membership enrollment growth within the assigned service area.
  • Organize educational and training opportunities for agent broker partners within the assigned service area.
  • Act as the liaison between the health plan and the Field Marketing Organizations (FMO) to execute successful sales goals within the assigned service area.
  • Develop and foster key community relationships to support enrollment growth within the assigned service area.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Division to create and develop training and marketing materials for agent broker partners.
  • Collaborate with the Provider Relations Division to identify enrollment growth opportunities with Independent Physicians Associations (IPA) and medical clinics within the assigned service area.
  • Supervise a team that may consist of sales coordinators, specialists, and a supervisor within the assigned service area.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two (2) years prior experience in a sales role within the Medicare Advantage industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing best practices with a healthcare environment, with a concentration in Medicare Advantage plans.
  • Stellar communication skills with the ability to use persuasion and compassion through presentation materials and well-developed sales pitch.
  • Able to build, foster and maintain positive, collaborative, external and cross-departmental relationships.
  • Able to work up to 50% of the time in the field, meeting with prospective members, agent broker partners and community members.
  • Possession of a Health Insurance License is preferred but not required.
  • Fluent in Vietnamese, Spanish, Korean, Cantonese/Mandarin (verbal and written), preferred.
